Abstract
The discovery of the Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN, Geneva in 2012 was followed by the quest to understand its nature and role more precisely. An important question is wether there are further Higgs boson-like particles waiting to be discovered and how they interact with the Higgs boson itself. The answer to these may lead to discoveries of new physics beyond the Standard Model of particle physics and a deepening of our understanding of nature. In this talk I will address the search for new particles at the LHC using Higgs boson pairs as signatures. Special techniques required to identify highly energetic Higgs bosons, which are tools in these searches, will be discussed.
