Abstract:
The first Mn-based superconductor is observed in border magnetic order MnP with transition temperature near 1 K under an applied pressure of 8 GPa. It has motivated us to search for other Mn-based superconductors. Here, we demonstrate our recent work on this issue, including investigating lattice and magnetic structure in MnSe with sulfur substitution, the physical properties of different thickness MnSe/STO films, and finally, the pressure-dependent X-ray diffraction、resistivity and magnetic susceptibility on MnSe. We observe superconductivity on MnSe with the TCmax~9 K at 35 GPa, and the contribution of superconductivity in distorted MnSe is attributed to the orthorhombic structure.
