Abstract: Recent observations of the near space environment show that the ionosphere plasma is sensitive to influences not only coming from the Sun but also from the lower atmosphere and surface variations, including seismic activities. Additionally, anthropogenic activities such as more frequent rocket launches nowadays also produce prominent modification of the ionosphere in a surprising wave. In this presentation, I will present how the lower atmosphere, surface and anthropogenic activities affect the geospace environment in the recent studies. Following that I will then introduce how the space weather affecting our life with increasing technology applications.
