依據國立中央大學博士班研究生獎助學金辦法:
經核准逕修讀自入學(如指導教授選定為於資格考後者，則自指導教授選定)該學年起核給4學年。每人每月至少新臺幣20,000元。學校提供8,000元，院、系(所、學位學程)及指導教授提供至少12,000元，其中指導教授應由其計畫經費提供至少8,000元。
