Abstract

Understanding the physical mechanisms of the energy materials, such as thermoelectric materials, solar cells, batteries, and superconducting materials, is important for the academic and industry to improve the performance. In this talk, I will focus on the (1) extremely space and time restricted thermal transport in the thermoelectric SnSe, (2) photoinduced ferromagnetism in Prussian Blue and as a host material for rechargeable battery, (3) Ni as a carrier supplier for enhanced superconductivity in Ni-doped Bi nanoparticles.
