In accordance with the amended Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, which officially came into effect on March 22, 2023, our school has implemented a comprehensive campus smoking ban to protect the health of all faculty, staff, and students, and to maintain a clean, smoke-free environment.
Please be reminded:
- The campus area includes all indoor and outdoor public spaces, dormitories, corridors, stairwells, areas outside perimeter walls, and parking lots.
- All types of tobacco products are strictly prohibited, including e-cigarettes (vapes), and designated tobacco products such as heated tobacco are subject to enhanced regulation.
- Violators of the smoking ban will be subject to a fine ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$10,000, in accordance with the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act.
- Individuals under the age of 20 caught smoking are required to attend three hours of smoking cessation education.
Let us work together to maintain a smoke-free campus environment.
If you have any questions or need assistance with smoking cessation, please contact the Campus Health Services Office for support.
Thank you for your cooperation and support!
